Northern chinese noodles within 5 minute walking distance from south side of campus. They have snackpass so you can convienently order online if you want to get it togo. Small place with less than 10 tables inside so be prepared to wait during peak times. I loved the restaurant's decor and choice of furniture because it really matched the open chinese restaurant vibe. house special beef rib ($20) Tomato and egg lo mein ($14) -- please skip this it had a ton of raw onion and carrots and a super thick tomato/ketchup sauce that was not good at all Beef noodle soup ($15) Chicken fried rice ($15) Portion size is really big and these 4 dishes were too much for my party of 5 people. Everything was really good (except for the tomato and egg) and would definitely recommend coming back
By far the best noodles I've ever had in my entire life. The quanttity is large for a good price. The food comes out very fast and the taste is just impeccable. I always go here and my friends always enjoy and compliment the food. I wish they expanded their location because my mom wants me to fly her this dish down to Los Angeles but I am not allowed Everything seems authentic and homemade I wish I could eat this everyday. I am so grateful for this location. Thank you Noodle Dynasty for everything.
I loveeee noodle dynasty. It's a Berkeley classic. The inside is very nice and it is always busy. We waited in a line before getting seated. They also made us order before we got seated as we were in line probably to have business running faster. It is a pretty small shop but the line is not that slow. I got the bowl with the huge bone which was bigger than the size of my face. It was soooo good and the broth felt very warm, spicy, and flavorful!
This place is popping! I came right when they opened at 5pm, and it was already packed. It's a small, super popular noodle place right near university and I can understand why. The portions are big and it was affordable. It's a quick dine in experience where you order on the iPad and pay immediately before you get the food. We got the spicy beef noodle soup, spicy beef rib (bone-in) noodle soup, and spicy lamb (bone-in) noodle soup. The beef was super tender, and the radish that came with it complements the dish and oiliness of it. I'm not a big fan of lamb since it's a bit gamey for me, but if you like lamb, you'll probably enjoy that one. The spicy wasn't spicy to me but it made the dish very oily. I'd go for the regular version next time so I can taste the broth better. By the time we finished around 5:30pm, there was a long line outside.
No wonder theres always a line!! It's taken me a long time to try Noodle Dynasty since I was always intimidated by the constant out of door lines but it went by surprisingly quick. The service is insanely fast and within minutes of ordering our food was delivered. The beef noodle soup--no wonder it's a house special because it's one of the best ones I've had in awhile (granted I don't eat it that much lol). The broth so so rich and flavorful and the meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The wontons in chili oil weren't my favorite necessarily since it was more oil flavor than spice but it was still a good try since the wrapping was nice and thin. Even though it's a really tight space, I'll definitely be back with my friends soon (especially bc it's national noodle month)
